‘I Am Los Angeles’ is an online documentary project about unique people who make Los Angeles what it is. It was created by Dutch filmmaker Joris Debeij, and it features people from all walks of life, who call this place home. I’m not sure exactly how I came across the series, but It was so in line with our site and so beautifully shot, that I couldn’t help by share it with you. A video about the project is below and while it’s a little abstract, I have a feeling it will leave you wanting more.
My favorite short of the series, so far ,has been with KCRW radio announcer, Kajon Cermak. As an avid KCRW listener, it’s great to finally put a face with the voice and name. I also felt like I was riding in the passenger side of her convertible down Pacific Coast Highway & into Malibu. Look.
